I watched all the interviews with him, re -read about the mechanoids 3 everything that I could find, and now I will briefly tell you what awaits us.

The author of the game is not a stupid and experienced person. It pleases. He understands that the game should become dynamic and more modern from the point of view of the mechanic. He has already promised that he would revise the approach to dialogues. Living people will appear in the game, the plot will rotate around them and conversations with them will resemble a normal dialogue system, and not some unimaginable walls of the text, as before. But! In addition, the author wants to recover the combat system and make it, straight, cool. With a positional battle, distant and medium distances, with new heavy struers who walk on their feet and.T.D.

Any action is always good as much as its technical implementation is good. Nobody likes the shooters with oak animations, unreasonable control and stupid enemies, which are easy to exploit to IT.D.

Mechanoid 3 has a very peculiar production model, let’s say so. The game on an ongoing basis makes literally 1-2 people. The rest of the work, as I understand it, is the author to outsources.

The second fear is connected with the strong, seemingly, side of the game: with Lor.

That’s right, the oceans of the text. And this is not even the whole problem!
The real problem is that without all this you can not understand the motivation of the main characters and lose the opportunity to empathize with local dramas. And in the end, either score on the plot and amuse yourself with shootouts (about which my previous fear), or to suffer and develop reading the clock from the screen for a clock.
I’m not saying that it will. I repeat, the author is an experienced designer who understands the weaknesses of the original well. This inspires hope. But everything happens.

The third fear.
The third fear is associated with the fate of Mora 2. Many are already in the know: one third has been released from the game (script for the Guruspik), and what will happen next is not clear. We hope, of course, for the best, but with mechanoids everything is also not yet obvious.
The author says that he focuses on the Long Dark game model, where first the survival mode with the main mechanics came out, and then the developers began to add blocks with the plot. And this is not bad, the main thing is that these blocks come out!
Here everything is again clinging to finances. Long Dark immediately sold out hundreds of thousands of copies in Steam, and sales were constantly growing.
What will happen to mechanoids – while the riddle. The game is made at the expense of the patreon, so in a sense it can be developed forever. But in the event that the first released piece, she does not hook the audience, maybe everything will die out on this. God knows him.
